The U.S. Drum and Bass Music Community will be blessed on November 18th, 2023 with some of the top U.S. DnB DJs in Gainesville Florida USA at Kontrolled Kaos presents Science and Sickness 2023.
Can we start off by saying U.S. Drum and Bass and Florida Drum and Bass are certainly alive and well? As if the recent rise in DnB and Jungle events throughout the United States isn’t proof enough, there have been a number of amazing one-off events and nightclub events across the country with absolutely stellar drum & bass lineups worthy enough for even the most diehard of junglists.
DKingMarketing.com and K0ntr0lledKa0s.com have teamed up to produce one of the year’s most anticipated Drum and Bass music events in the State of Florida created for the true fan of DnB and Jungle music, producers, DJs, and events.
On Saturday, November 18th, 2023 these two veteran event producers will be teaming up with Simon Semrani to merge Simon’s two historic Florida nightclubs into one venue with two rooms of DnB legends for a night of drum & bass curated entirely for true fans of jungle and drum and bass music.

Thanks for your comment, Jason. We cannot release any specific details regarding the lineup for this event. However, we have it on good authority that your guess, albeit a good one, is actually incorrect. Planet of the Drums will not be performing at this event, but you are on the right track. You may have to reach back even further as these legends are literally responsible for building U.S. Drum N Bass from the very start.
So will we have to leave one nightclub and enter the other to get to each room for this event or how is that going to work?
That is an excellent question, Tina. Thank you so much for asking. Actually, we are opening a wall partition between the two venues which is located in a corridor near the restrooms. Each venue is technically in the same building in downtown Gainesville which helps make this even possible. We feel that this will make for a highly convenient way to move between the two venues while still separating the sound and having it located in an area of each venue that will work best for flow. We have worked inside these venues and spent ample time attending events in them since the mid 1990’s and know that this is the PERFECT location for this specific event. It will be an absolute honor to have these legendary US DNB DJs grace us with what is sure to be an amazing night for jungle and drum and bass music events in America no doubt! Hope to see you there!
